Every year Bostock Singers has a designated charity for which we raise funds at the concerts we give. However, 2020 had been very different.
The choir had been forced to stay at home and rehearse via Zoom. We had already had a huge amount of success with our first lockdown video for Parkinson’s UK and we wanted to do the same again for a local charity. Bostock Singers hoped to raise much-needed funds for local charity; St. Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice in Winsford. So we recorded our version of the ‘O Holy Night’.
The song ‘O Holy Night’ is a huge favourite with our choir members. Led by Nic Howbigg and accompanied by Alison Richards, choir members recorded their own parts. This was skillfully edited and produced by Nic and choir member Andy Martell into our very own Christmas Lockdown fundraising song.
