Concert at Hartford Methodist Church, 10th July 2018

Our friends and family summer concert took place at Hartford Methodist Church on 10h July, followed by refreshments in the church..
The concert was a great success, with some new music added since the last concert and we received some very flattering comments from the audience who enjoyed the concert.

The Bostock Singers took part in the Newcastle Under Lyme festival for music, speech and drama this year and finished a very creditable second, missing out on the top place by only one mark.
We sang three pieces for the event within the time limit of 12 minutes:

Bridge over Troubled Waters
The Lilly and the Rose

We performed to the other choirs in the competition and our performaces went down very well with the audience and adjudicators alike.
