Christmas family and friends concert, 9th December 2016 - Joint concert with the Winsford Education Partnership Junior Choir

We were forced to move the concert from the Hartford Methodist Church to the larger Church of St John's in Hartford this year due to the numbers that turned up last year. Again, there was a great turnout, and everyone enjoyed the singing of the Bostock Singers and of the junior choir.
Refreshments were served afterwards. Click here for a piece in the Northwich Guardian.

We sang in 2 locations during the day.
The first was in the church, which had been transformed into a victorian market

The Bostock Singers have
won the St Lukes Hospice “Last Choir Standing” competition, whick took place on Saturday 7 May 2016 at the Crewe Lyceum Theatre.

The competition was based on the BBC series, and featured eight choirs from the Cheshire area.
All profits from the evening went to St Lukes Hospice, and the sum of the votes alone came to over £6000!
A panel of judges gave useful guidance to the competing choirs, but the votes from the audience on the night decided the winner of the competition - the Bostock Singers! Click here for an article from the Northwich Guardian

Thank you to all of our friends and families and supporters who came along to support us and watch us perform.
We were presented with a trophy and a cash prize of £100, which we donated back to St Lukes.
