Another successful joint concert with the Bostock Band.

July 5th 2011 Charity concert at the United Reform Church, Queen Street, Middlewich.

The concert was another great success. Rev David Spence from the church sent a letter of praise to Shirley please click here to read
Other comments from people who attended the last concert at Hartford was that this one was even better, with the Richard Rodgers melody again a favourite - My Funny Valentine the best of the lot, and 'Nothing like a Dame' getting the vote for the campest performance from Tim, Tom and Phil! It was also commented that the choir 'performed' the songs more than they did at the last concert.
The guest players were very well received. The flutist / Flautist / Flute player (delete according to preference) Emily Mottershead was superb, as were Rebecca Todd on guitar and Sophie Williams on clarinet.
And, of course Peter's solo 'Beyond the Sea' drew loud applause.
Thanks must go to Shirley for her hard work in helping make the concerts fun to do.

June 21st 2011 Concert at Hatford Methodist Church.

The concert was very well received, and we had some very flattering comments both on the evening and left on the website.
There were many favourites, but the Richard Rodgers melody was singled out for the close harmonies, particularly on 'My Funny Valentine'. There was praise too for Peter's piano solo 'Little Serenade' and Dave's solo 'Your Song'.
The favourite choir 'set' was agreed to be the final one - Don't Stop Believin', Somewhere over the Rainbow and Bridge Over Troubled Waters. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow sent shivers down my spine" said one audience member.

Hannah and Chris's wedding went very well.
The rain abated just on time for Hannah to arrive, and the hymns and songs were very well received.
Well done to all who attended.
